Since 1998, for over 25 years, LaRose Equine Dentistry, LLC has been serving the equine dental care needs thousands of clients throughout the state of Michigan. We also offer group appointments, clinics (4-H /other) and demonstrations for equine dental care, and/or basic ground handling techniques. Contact us for clinic pricing.
Payment is expected at the time services are rendered unless other arrangements have been agreed upon in advance.
Service may be refused if payment is not available at the time of service.
2023 Pricing for Dental Services
Float ............................................... $90/horse (includes canine reduction)
Canine Reduction only (no Float) $50/horse
Wolf Tooth Extraction* ................. $25/tooth
Blind Wolf Tooth Extraction*........ $35/tooth
(wolf tooth not fully erupted)
Cap Extraction ............................. $25/tooth
Other Dental Services ................. Exam required for quote
Exam Fee ...................................... None, as long as there are horses being
floated at the same location.
Farm Call Fee
for routine appointments
within the state of Michigan............. We now reserve the right to add a farm call
(Outside Michigan - call for quote) fee depending on the economy and the circumstance. Farm call fee will be quoted
prior to your appointment confirmation.
Service Fee
for appointments coordinated
with vets who are no-shows.
No charge with 24 hrs notice........... $75
Consult Fee
for a consult or request to have one
or more horses checked and no
horses are floated at that location.
(Applied to cost of float if
performed at the time of consult)..... $75
NSF Check Fee............................... $35
Late Payment Fee........................... $50
on the occasion that service is
performed with agreement that
payment will be forthcoming, a
late fee will apply if payment is
not received within 15 days of
service.
*Doug often gets called for wolf tooth extractions by clients of other EqDTs when their EqDT is unable to manage the horse in question. These requests will be accommodated at Doug's discretion, as his schedule permits, and a farm call fee (dependent on distance) will apply.

PayPal is accepted for payments in advance of the date of the appointment only, not at the time of service.
A refund (subject to the above rates & provisions) will be issued
if it's determined that the horse does not need to be floated.
($4/horse transaction fee applies for all forms of payment other than cash/check.)
